Sweater: I Love Mr. Mittens // Pants: J.McLaughlin // Boots: Tamara Mellon (old – I wish they would bring them back)! // Glasses: Linda Farrow // Bag: Chanel
Thanksgiving is right around the corner! I thought it would be fun to round up 5 outfit ideas, 5 tabletop items that I love, and 5 perfect gifts for the host. Whether you are dressing up or dressing down, hosting or visiting, hopefully you will find a little inspiration below…
WHAT TO WEAR // Thanksgiving is the perfect excuse to bring out cozy, yet chic items from your closet. While I will be down in Florida dreaming of even cooler temps, I have some fun outfit ideas for those of you in true fall weather. I think I will be wearing this dress – and if the temps are cool enough – will be pairing with these boots!
CLASSIC WITH A SIDE OF SPARKLE // Top: H&M. Pants: Paige (also love these under $100). Shoes: Tretorn. Earrings: J.Crew. This outfit is the perfect mix of easy, casual pieces and a bit of bling. Need a coat to top it off? I would pair it with this one that is currently under $60.
RED & BURGUNDY // Skirt: English Factory (under $100). Jacket: J.Crew. Shoes: Jeffrey Campbell (under $120). I love a great color mix and burgundy and red has been on my mind lately. This outfit is dressed up without being too fussy for a cozy Thanksgiving with family or friends.
A SWEATER MOMENT // Sweater Dress: Treasure & Bond. Necklace: Tuckernuck. Scarf: Tuckernuck. Boots: Jimmy Choo. I typically don’t lean towards sweater dresses but I loved the cut and price point of this one. Want to adda bit more of a classic twist? Layer this sweater dress over this shirtdress.
COLORFUL CHEER // Sweater: Boden (hurry only a few sizes left). Skirt: Aknvas. Boots: Fendi. Come on, you know I couldn’t resit a colorful stripe moment. I actually just received this sweater and LOVE. IT. Sadly, it is nearly sold out. If you can’t get your hands on the Boden multi stripe above, this whole look would also look amazing with this sweater!
FESTIVE FAIR ISLE // Sweater: Alex Mill. Pants: H&M. Shoes: J.McLaughin. Looking for a sweet yet casual outfit? This is it. I am loving fair isle this season – be on the lookout for a fair isle specific post a bit later this week!
WHAT TO SET // Setting the table – and the scene! Below are a few of my favorite tabletop and entertaining items for the holidays. I am constantly on the hunt for items that are beautiful, yet functional and hold up over time. Check them out below…
I used this tablecloth on my table last Thanksgiving and am so happy how the whole look came together. The perfect fall colors that feel rich and happy!
Last year I included these laser cut name cards at everyone’s place-setting and they were such a hit. They are incredibly affordable BUT you just need to make sure to order them with plenty of time to arrive.
WHAT TO GIFT // You aren’t hosting? Just showing up? Lucky you! I have a few ideas for hosting gifts to dazzle and delight. P.S. you can see more home centric gifts to love here.
A dear friend came to visit me and brought me this candle and it is my favorite scent EVER. My friend Grace just posted that she loved this scent as well so now I have to try it for myself!
Listen, you have probably seen Brightland products all over IG already. I am here to tell you they are worth the hype! The perfect practical gift. While the minis are so cute, you can also find the full size set here.
I am a sucker for a trinket tray, and for a cute lil animal, so this gift tick both boxes. Shop it here in multiple colors.
